Sales Engineer (m / w / d)

Job Description

Renesas is seeking a dynamic, entry-level Sales Engineer with a technical background in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering. Candidates should be self-starters who can effectively manage their own schedules and demonstrate consistent growth in their role. As a Sales Engineer, you will work in a fast-paced environment, responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding our footprint in one of Renesas’ Top Tier 1 Industrial Global Accounts headquartered in Germany.

This position begins with a 6-month assignment as an Associate Sales Engineer, during which you will learn about the Renesas portfolio, opportunity management, customer engagement, and business strategy. Mentors will include other Sales Managers and Application Engineers. The position is located in the Düsseldorf or Munich area. After this initial period, you will join the Global Account Team as a Technical Sales Engineer, responsible for revenue growth and account management within your assigned perimeter of the Global Account.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Fluent in German (verbal and written)
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Self-starter with strong communication skills
• Basic knowledge of embedded system design and ability to understand and create block diagrams of customer applications
• Motivated, responsive, and driven personality with strong organizational skills
• Willingness to travel
