Supervisor Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d) - Employment in the USA

Your Tasks

• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Mechanical Engineers
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and set development goals for team members
• Coordinate with other departments to integrate systems effectively and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Review design documents, including drawings, BOM’s, GD&T, schematics, risk assessments and other deliverables of the department.
• Ensure engineering budgets of the projects are adhered to.

• Determine design solutions for machinery and machine parts and generate equipment drawings for manufacturing
• Definition of purchase parts and creation of technical specifications
• Perform design reviews internally and with the customer and obtain approvals
• GD&T (Dimensioning and Detailing)
• Perform risk assessments in machine safety

Your Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing automated special machinery.
• Proficient in Solidworks and other engineering tools and software.
• Strong knowledge of special automation machinery design and GD&T
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• This position is based in the office, with occasional site visits to project locations as required.
• Some travel may be necessary for client meetings, project installations, and industry events
• Salary range: $120.000 – 130.000
