Role Overview

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in providing strategic partnership to leaders across EA. This role reports to the Finance Manager II of Financial Planning & Analysis and collaborates closely with the EA Experience teams across Publishing - Commercial. The position involves overseeing Operating Expenses of multiple business units and working with the business to forecast and track costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and collaborate with FP&A teams such as Commercial, Marketing, Studios, and Enterprise.
  • Prepare, present, and communicate business reviews with insights and actionable data.
  • Support strategic decisions through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Manage monthly financial close meetings and reporting.
  • Own the financial forecast, analyze variances, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with accounting to ensure timely and accurate close processes.
  • Lead initiatives to improve forecasting and reporting processes, standardize tools, and automate workflows.
  • Provide updates and inputs for enterprise reporting, challenge the status quo, and suggest efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience.
  • Strong expertise in P&L management, OpEx budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Anaplan, Power BI, and Oracle is a plus.
