Role overview

We share a vision with our clients to develop the best aircraft transport systems, which requires designing and constructing complex structures and components in lightweight construction, using state-of-the-art materials and development processes.

Responsibilities

1. Support the creation of material and process plans for conventional and additive manufactured metallic and non-metallic parts and components.
2. Investigate manufacturing and assembly processes, considering damage tolerance, failure analyses, and environmental regulations (e.g., REACH).
3. Define material testing procedures and support the validation process and DFME analyses.
4. Evaluate technical deviations, investigate their causes, and define effective corrective actions.
5. Ensure continuous improvement in production.

Qualifications

1. Degree in materials science, tool testing, or a related field, with relevant experience in lightweight materials.
2. Knowledge of material testing standards and permissible material values in aerospace structural development.
3. Familiarity with damage tolerance and failure analyses.
4. Proficiency in English.
