The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. Candidates who excel at this job can prospect (via email, phone, & partner ecosystem), develop, and close business promptly while focusing on clients’ requirements. The AE must have the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements with clients and support new customers through onboarding.

As an Account Executive at Snowflake, you will:
- Achieve sales quotas for your assigned accounts and territory quarterly and annually by developing a sales strategy with a target prospect list and regional sales plan.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop plans that drive revenue growth.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps to promote Snowflake solutions.
- Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
- Conduct initial discussions and positioning meetings with executives and CxOs.
- Manage the sales process and close opportunities.
- Maintain ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and generate additional revenue.
- Utilize a solution-based sales approach, managing complex sales processes with excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.
Our ideal Account Executive will have:
- A BA / BS degree.
- 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud-related technology.
- 5+ years focused on generating new business within enterprise accounts.
- Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
- Experience achieving an ARR of $800k+ annually and conducting at least 8 face-to-face meetings weekly.
- Focus on new business sales.
- A track record of consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
- Ability to assess customer requirements and present suitable solutions.
- Proactive, independent, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Understanding of the broader business drivers around IT.
Bonus points for experience with:
- Implementing MEDDPICC.
- Selling software or cloud-based applications to enterprise clients.
