Job Summary: Manages the Business Development function in EMEA, focusing on identifying, evaluating and pursuing business opportunities within and outside the Company. Identifies, investigates and evaluates acquisitions, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the Company’s long-range goals. Responsible for leading the EMEA business development team. Incumbents in this position with regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Job Requirements:
Four-year college degree, or equivalent, in business, finance, marketing or related field, plus a minimum of fifteen years related experience. MBA degree highly desirable. Business experience related to Cubic products and markets preferred. Broad business experience evaluating markets and business opportunities. Prior experience managing professional associates in a complex environment requiring the integration of cross-functional responses. Advanced analytical skills necessary in order to organize, plan and execute contracts, agreements and strategic purchase orders. Advanced interpersonal skills in order to interact in extremely delicate, sensitive and/or complex situations dealing with EMEA agencies and commercial customers and suppliers. Ability to prioritize projects and work under tight deadlines.
