Your responsibilities

  • You provide operational Sourcing support to enable implementation and execution of category strategies. Therefore, you collaborate closely with the Global Category managers.
  • By supporting several sourcing projects in different sub-categories with Sales services and Customer Value including but not limited to Secondary Data, Market Access, Meeting Congress and Events, Contract Sales Organizations, Observational and Non-Interventional Studies and Real-World Evidence, you executed the sourcing strategies to optimize external spend and prepare for future sourcing challenges.
  • Using supplier classification and evaluation tools, you will support the respective Category managers in the supplier governance and oversight.
  • Furthermore, you collaborate across functions internally and externally and establish a close relationship on an operational level with business partners, as well as Global Business Services enabling functions and our suppliers.
  • The role involves various tasks related to different systems and processes, such as: RFx-Process (ARIBA System): Creating requests, making changes, answering supplier queries; Wesave: Creating demand; CorA: supporting Sourcing Managers in maintaining CorA contracts; DocuSign: Implementing electronic correspondence; MDGx: Initiating the onboarding process for new suppliers, changing existing suppliers; Webuy/IBIS R3: Knowledge about the procurement channels.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar field, or successful apprenticeship combined with relevant work experience and/or further training.
  • Sound negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • First experience in Sourcing, ideally paired with experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Intercultural awareness and a customer-oriented mindset as well as strong interpersonal skills.
