Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Recruitment Specialist Intern at English Language and Literature. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for hiring, interviewing, communication, recruiting, and training. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to recruiting and managing talent for the platform.

Responsibilities

  1. Talent sourcing by identifying potential candidates through job boards, social media, and networking events, and maintaining a candidate database.
  2. Utilize various recruitment channels (job boards, social media, networking) to attract top talent.
  3. Review resumes and applications, and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications.
  4. Schedule and conduct detailed interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  5. Recruitment coordination, posting job openings, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews, as well as providing onboarding support for new hires.
  6. Prepare and extend job offers while negotiating terms and managing counter-offers.
  7. Foster strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to understand hiring needs and priorities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  2. Familiarity with recruitment processes and HR principles is an advantage but not mandatory.
  3. Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn about recruitment tools.
  4. Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively in remote team settings.
  5. Available to dedicate 10 hours per week, ensuring active participation from Monday to Friday.
  6. Capable of contributing creative ideas to enhance processes and outcomes.
