We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to work within our Pre-Sales Team.

The role involves working with and supporting the sales team in all new business and existing opportunities within the EV Charging domain (CPO, EMSP, Utilities, Service Providers, etc.), to secure new solution sales and contracts, and liaising with other teams to ensure we put forward our best proposition to meet the clients' needs. The presales manager must also be comfortable exchanging solution knowledge with customers and prospects via excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Ideally, candidates will have a background and experience within the EV charging domain, and/or proven experience in other technical domains like Telco, billing, CRM-related experience. However, willingness and ability to learn and understand new technologies and business modules is key.

Responsibilities :

  1. Assist with the qualification of opportunities/leads.
  2. Lead and coordinate demonstrations of the complete solution portfolio (including with C-level).
  3. Lead internal presales processes from opportunity to contract sign-off.
  4. Collaborate internally with Operations, Products, R&D, and other relevant stakeholders.
  5. Drive solutions forward to prospects, acting as the solution architect in key bids.
  6. Interact with customers, prospects, market experts, and colleagues to understand requirements, and craft solution portfolios.
  7. Train internal staff on the use of the solution when required.
  8. Develop ROI and business case proposals for new business prospects, and conduct Pre-Sales consultancy exercises.
  9. Scope technical solutions to address customer requirements.
  10. Write technical proposed solutions for commercial proposals, RFQs, and RFPs.
  11. Outline solutions for trials and Proof of Concepts.
  12. Communicate customer inputs to Driivz for market trends and product improvements.
  13. Conduct training sessions for Driivz customers on product functionalities.

Skills, ability, and experience :

  1. English as a second language.
  2. Experience in Pre-Sales within Telecom markets and/or EV charging is an advantage.
  3. Excellent presentation and demonstration skills for various audience sizes.
  4. Background in electrical engineering is an advantage.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
  6. Self-motivated to deliver quality service internally and externally.
  7. Adaptable to work independently or in a team.
  8. Commercially minded.
  9. Strong relationship-building skills with customers and prospects.
  10. Ability to analyze and understand customer requirements and drivers.
  11. Ability to discuss business benefits and value to prospects of varying seniority.
  12. Translate technical and business requirements into cost-efficient propositions.
  13. Build relationships with internal teams such as R&D, Product Management, and Sales.
  14. Willingness to travel.

  • You will report to the Head of Business Operations and Presales.
