Join our awesome team in the heart of Berlin. We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator who likes to explore new horizons and work with complex infrastructure systems.

We are maintaining several Linux-based systems and need your help to manage and optimize our complex infrastructure systems, both in the cloud and on-premise.

Tasks

• Design, implement, and maintain high-availability Linux-based environments, including web, application, and database servers.
• Provide expert-level support to our clients (2nd and 3rd level).
• Enhance automation through tools like Ansible and Terraform, streamlining deployments.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based web and database servers for peak performance.
  
  

• 2-3 years of experience in maintaining high-availability Linux infrastructure.
• Strong ownership mentality, with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to conduct security reviews, in line with Hamburg Security and Data Protection laws (HmbSÜGG).
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty, with extra compensation for your time.
  
  

• Experience with HAProxy, Nginx, Apache, and Docker/Keycloak application servers.
• Knowledge of clustered database servers (Percona, Postgres).
• Experience using Ansible and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and container environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
