About the role :

As our (Senior) IT Security Engineer Endpoint Protection (m/w/d), you'll play a key role in strengthening our endpoint security measures while collaborating with a dynamic and innovative team. About your tasks :
- Enhance and maintain robust security solutions for digital workplaces, including malware prevention and detection, encryption, and endpoint hardening. Develop automation for recurring processes.
- Take ownership of patch and vulnerability management, identifying, evaluating, and deploying operating system and application patches as well as security updates.
- Drive the development of security policies by designing and implementing client hardening concepts.
- Explore growth opportunities by contributing to IT security projects focused on infrastructure and applications, driving innovative solutions.
- Ensure security compliance by analyzing system reports and providing insights into endpoint security status.
Qualifications : About you :
- Several years of professional experience in endpoint security with expertise in operating systems (Windows, Mac) and their management solutions.
Strong expertise in operating systems, management solutions, and security frameworks, with a special focus on safety mechanisms (Windows, Mac).
Hands-on experience with antivirus products (e.g., WithSecure, ESET, Sophos, Trend Micro).
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in client/endpoint administration and hardening. Knowledge in Windows Server infrastructures, Linux, VMware is a plus.
Ideally, you have worked with endpoint management systems like SCCM/MECM, Intune, or Baramundi.
Fluency in English (C1); German (C1) is a strong bonus.Additional Information :
