Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support and help grow the PHINIA Aftermarket brand and product portfolio with a focus on Diesel workshops and warehouse distributors. This position includes retaining and developing current customers and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives within the Diesel and Heavy-Duty segment.
  • Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance and business development activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Successfully promote and leverage PHINIA product leadership.
  • Represent PHINIA and its Brands on workshop level, supporting colleagues with roadshows and trade shows.
  • Support Diagnostic development with Remote Service.
  • Understand obligations related to contractual agreements and comply with contracts for programs in enterprise.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Commercial field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotives, Aftermarket.
  • Fluent in German and good communication skills in English.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with customers and management.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • High level of initiative and drive for prospecting and relationship building.
  • Team-oriented with collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong affinity to engine and Diesel technologies.
  • Willingness to travel is required.
