Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Game Designer to work on Idle Miner Tycoon, a top mobile game with over 220 million downloads. You will influence the game's future by designing features, refining systems, and enhancing player experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype features aligned with the game’s vision.
• Refine designs based on feedback and data insights.
• Balance progression, rewards, and mechanics for long-term engagement.
• Develop live ops events and offers to boost engagement and monetization.
• Communicate designs clearly across teams.
• Collaborate with art, engineering, and production teams for implementation.
• Contribute to design practices and team workflows.
• Maintain a player-first approach to gameplay design.
• Analyze idle/F2P games for opportunities and inspiration.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of game design experience, with at least one shipped or live title.
• Strong knowledge of game design, systems, and F2P/mobile best practices.
• Analytical skills with experience interpreting player data and KPIs.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar tools for balancing and modeling.
• Experience with live ops and iterative design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills and an iterative mindset.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with progression systems, game economies, or idle mechanics.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, telemetry, and analytics collaboration.
• Experience in game deconstruction and market research.
• Experience with Unity is a plus.
• Awareness of industry trends and player expectations.
