Job Description

As an Account Manager OEM at Rockwell Automation, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of our products and services to established accounts within your assigned territory. Your main goal is to exceed annual sales targets by identifying opportunities and building strong relationships with clients.

You will report to the Sales Manager OEM and be based in Germany.

The responsibilities - you will do:

  • Develop and execute account plans for your assigned accounts.
  • Lead Rockwell Automation resources to deliver optimal solutions to customers.
  • Manage the sales process from opportunity identification to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to expand market reach and sales coverage.
  • Handle objections, manage a sales pipeline, and negotiate profitable deals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on pricing, product specs, warranties, and customer requirements.

The essentials - you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technology sales within Industrial Automation.
  • Proficiency in German (native) and fluent English.
  • Valid driving license.

The preferred - you might also have:

  • Experience in OEM or machine builder sales.
  • Proven results in sales and business development.
  • Ability to develop new business in existing and new accounts.
