The Project and Bid Engineering Manager Junior

• Responsible for the technical development of sub-scopes of a train project (up to validation & certification).
• Ensure that the project's contractual technical requirements, engineering, and QCD objectives are met, and that existing Alstom platforms are operated in line with the project strategy.
• Design and implement a technical definition that fully meets Project Performance, Product Cost, and Scheduling commitments for a sub-scope of a train project during the development phase.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Project Engineering Manager or Bid Technical Manager.
• Manage cross-functional project technical activities and stakeholders at Train and Sub-System levels; endorse design authority and related decisions or trade-offs.
• Lead task-forces or work streams for unplanned activities when necessary.
• Manage ENG bid activities aligned with the Product Platform.
• Prepare and drive technical opportunities within ongoing projects.
• Drive innovation activities within the project and align them with specific product needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Generate visibility on the performance of the assigned work package, work streams, processes, or task-forces.
• Allocate technical and QCD objectives, leveraging existing Alstom platforms and improving current methodologies.
• Coordinate and monitor cross-functional objectives, activities, and deliverables.
• Develop planning and configuration management for sub-scopes.
• Support technical risk management through mitigation plans, including moderating specific technical issue task forces.
• Provide reporting on project technical and QCD status.
