Description

OC Brüggen is part of Owens Corning’s Non Woven, Composites Solutions Business and produces glass non-wovens for flooring, ceiling, walls, and GRP industries. The Brüggen Plant is located near Mönchengladbach/Viersen (Germany) and Venlo/Roermond (The Netherlands). It employs over 70 staff, operates one production line in a 24/7 shift model, and plans to add a second line in 2024.

About The Program

The Manufacturing Leadership Program (m/f/x) involves two years of technical and leadership training at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant. Participants are mentored by seasoned professionals and will engage in leadership opportunities such as:

  1. Safety leadership
  2. Supervisory leadership
  3. Process and product technologies
  4. Operational systems and management
  5. Maintenance planning activities
  6. Total Productive Maintenance methodologies

Participants will develop skills including troubleshooting, data-driven decision making, team leadership, effective communication, technical expertise, and customer focus. Upon completing the program, participants are offered a full-time supervisory or leadership role at a European Owens Corning plant.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or relevant STEM field
  • Relevant internships or co-ops in manufacturing
  • Leadership experience in professional, service, or social organizations
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary
  • Languages: German (at least conversational) and English (fluent)
