Job Description:

Within the research group “Quantum Technologies and Laser Reference”, which focuses on ultra-stable lasers, precision metrology, and frequency combs, you will serve as the Project Lead R&D Laser Reference. Your role involves developing and leading research projects in advanced laser reference technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct experimental research on frequency comb technologies and their applications.
2. Advance innovative research initiatives.
3. Manage complex projects, ensuring timely achievement of objectives.
4. Align research goals with company vision, contribute to grant proposals, and supervise students (PhD & Master level).
5. Present research findings at conferences and exhibitions.
6. Collaborate with Development, Sales, Product Management, and Service teams.
7. Engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• PhD in physics or related field with expertise in frequency combs, cold atoms, quantum computing, or photonic circuits.
• Postdoctoral or industry experience preferred.
• Startup mindset with ownership and hands-on approach.
• Successful track record in complex research or industrial projects.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
