Job description

Tasks

  • Lead and drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting measurement standards and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Visible and accessible on-site presence to quickly and effectively address quality issues escalated from the plant
  • Protection of customers through targeted, short-term quality assurance measures
  • Initiation of remedial and containment measures at suppliers or within Airbus when quality problems arise
  • Handling repeated or serious quality defects, especially in the areas of final assembly lines (FAL) and aerostructure, taking into account safety-related aspects (SARI)
  • Ensuring feedback to the plant and FAL to confirm the effectiveness of corrective actions and root cause elimination
  • Provide and analyse KPIs to evaluate compliance management and incoming inspections

Requirements

  • Degree in aircraft construction, engineering, aerospace, industrial engineering or supply chain quality
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, manufacturing/production, project management, quality management and supply chain
  • Detailed SAP knowledge and experience with Google Workspace
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Existing work permit for the EU (no student visa)
