SAP Authorizations Specialist for our Talent Pool in Germany

To support the continued growth of our network, we are looking for experienced and highly qualified experts to join our talent pool in Germany. We regularly staff international SAP transformation projects, typically with durations of 6 to 12 months.

We are currently seeking SAP Authorization Consultants with deep expertise in SAP role design, access control, and security concepts across ECC, S/4HANA, and cloud-based SAP systems.

Partial on-site presence in Germany is required.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in SAP security and authorizations, with a strong focus on role design and access control across multiple SAP modules.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP ERP, S/4Hana, IT and groupwide ERP transformation programs
• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining SAP roles and authorization concepts in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Solid knowledge of SAP security architecture, including organizational levels, authorization objects, composite/single roles, and profile generation.
• Familiarity with GRC Access Control, SoD (Segregation of Duties) analysis, and compliant user provisioning processes is a plus.
• Several years of experience in SAP security and authorization management, including hands-on experience with SAP role design and user administration.
• Ability to assess, design, and implement authorization concepts across SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, HR) and cross-system landscapes.
• Hands-on experience with security testing, audits, compliance reviews, and remediation planning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical authorization topics into business-friendly language.
• Experience working in global project environments with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with project methodologies such as SAP Activate, SCRUM, or ITIL-based support models.
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a strong plus.
