In this position, you will be part of our Chapter Data & AI Engineering. The chapter represents all experts who deliver data and AI engineering capabilities to our product teams. These experts are organized together to enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON’s MLOps & AIOps tech stack, and deliver a high level of data delivery & model automation.

The products you will be working on belong to our team Digital Solutions | Future Energy Home. This team develops and operates software to manage home energy devices such as photovoltaic systems, inverters, batteries, EV charging wall boxes, heat pumps, and meters as a cloud-based solution for our central and local units to rollout these solutions to end-customers. We integrate with numerous vendors’ devices and apply centralized insights, analytics, and control mechanisms for these devices.

  1. Perform complex data analysis using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to solve critical business problems.
  2. Enhance decision-making processes in the home energy management systems domain by delivering data analysis.
  3. Design, build, and deploy predictive models and algorithms; ensure scalability and integration with existing systems and processes.
  4. Oversee data science projects from conception to deployment and their ongoing maintenance.
  5. Ensure timely delivery and adherence to the highest quality standards.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and business units while working in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data.

authentic & ambitious - Your profile

  1. Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. Long-term and profound experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful data-driven projects.
  3. Expertise in programming languages such as Python, and experience with data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas) and machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence business decisions.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
