Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines on Databricks to integrate data from various sources, including app/web products and marketing partner data.
2. Build and manage the DataLakehouse on Databricks, including migrating legacy data products. Implement data transformations and processing logic using Databricks and PySpark.
3. Monitor and maintain the data stack for nightly and near-real-time processing, ensuring high performance and reliability. Optimize and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless data flow and integration. Support data analysts with Tableau as needed.
5. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Bootcamp training.
2. Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes and workflows.
3. Hands-on experience with DataBricks and AWS services (e.g., S3, Kinesis, Lambda) or similar technologies.
4. Strong skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
5. Knowledge of data integration and data quality best practices.
6. Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
7. Familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
9. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
