For our Life/Health Europe, Latin America & MENA unit, we are seeking a Paralegal / Contract Specialist (d/f/m) for the MENA region to join our team in Cologne on a permanent basis, starting immediately.
Your role
- Drafting Reinsurance Contracts: You will draft and edit reinsurance contracts and relevant documents for clients in the MENA region, ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and standards.
- Legal Support: You will analyze contract terms that deviate from our standards for possible acceptance and assist with other legal matters.
- International Collaboration: You will work closely with our offices in Dubai and Paris to ensure smooth cooperation.
- Document Management: You will organize and manage our contract documents to ensure they are structured and accessible.
- Knowledge Database: You will use our internal database to stay informed about our reinsurance policies and standards, keeping your knowledge up to date.
Your Profile
- You have completed training as a paralegal or hold a degree with a legal focus.
- Ideally, you have some initial experience with a primary or reinsurer in the life sector.
- Experience in drafting and structuring contracts is a plus.
- You are highly proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- You have excellent command of English and fluent French skills.
- You bring intercultural skills for the MENA region or are interested in acquiring them.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
