Your day at NTT DATA

The Support Engineer (L1) ensures IT infrastructure and systems remain operational by identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems, restoring service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

What you'll be doing

  • Level 1 Support focusing on Network and Security tasks
  • Monitoring tools and opening tickets as needed
  • Executing documented changes
  • Documentation and reporting
  • Developing and optimizing solutions in collaboration with the client
  • Providing end-user support
  • Assisting in troubleshooting measures
  • Technical coordination, documentation, and reporting
  • Participating in 3-shift work and on-call duties

What you bring

  • A completed technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent technical training
  • Experience in Network and Security areas
  • Good knowledge of Cisco LAN/WLAN environments (at least CCNA level), and familiarity with ACI, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, and network management tools
  • A structured approach with careful, precise, and result-oriented work, especially in problem analysis
  • Strong customer and service orientation, good manners, and effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written
