Construction Coordinator, Germany

Design Build Search is working with a global leader in the telecommunication sector. Due to ongoing projects, they have an opening for a Construction Coordinator in Germany. This is a unique opportunity offering a very flexible work-life balance. The ideal candidate could be based in Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, as site visits will be required once a month to the client’s Germany HQ in Berlin. To be considered, you must be fluent in German with a good level of English.

Purpose:

This position will be responsible for supporting and coordinating project partners and suppliers involved in the planning and construction of the client’s mobile phone masts in Germany. This includes supporting the planning process, monitoring on-site construction work, and accepting milestones according to construction progress.

Functions:

• Project management for the construction of new mobile phone masts
• Monitoring construction activities across various projects in the region
• Analyzing and evaluating project data, comparing it with planned costs and timelines
• Creating reports and presentations; communicating with suppliers and partners
• Continuously controlling and optimizing internal processes
• Regular reporting
• Project controlling
• Monitoring required construction capacity

Qualifications:

• Degree in structural or civil engineering or equivalent training
• Extensive experience as a project manager, preferably in constructing cell towers
• Support in drafting contracts with suppliers and partners
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Fluent in German (native speaker), good knowledge of English
