Job Description

DP World is growing! We have exciting opportunities for Operations Launch Managers to join our fast-paced Contract Logistics PMO.

In these roles, you will leverage your extensive Operations Management experience in Contract Logistics to oversee project delivery, workstream progress, quality assurance, and customer service, following the global launch governance methodology. You will act as the primary escalation point for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

These positions are remote, with extensive travel depending on project locations across Europe.

About The Role

• Support the implementation of new contract logistics launches according to the Launch Governance Methodology.
• Assist in planning, development, testing, and implementation of launches to ensure timely delivery, project success, and quality, aligning with the Ops Launch Team roles & responsibilities (RACIS).
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets, identify and resolve issues, and ensure objectives are met.
• Communicate and escalate critical project issues to the Ops Launch Director & Project Manager.
• Serve as the primary system SME, supporting system design and ensuring successful UAT completion, project scope delivery, and operational handover upon meeting KPIs.
• Ensure completion of Process Flows for operational/system design.
• Lead and participate in business process redesign teams.
• Present operational solutions to relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee test script scenarios for Internal UAT.
• Escalate critical issues to the PMO team.
• Support and train operational launch team members.

Your Key Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing warehouse operations in a senior role.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with integrity, engaging all management levels.
• Strong leadership skills, motivating teams to meet specific plans and timelines.
• Experience with site launches and continuous improvement initiatives is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, translating ideas into actions.
• Ability to handle time pressure in dynamic environments while maintaining enthusiasm and energy to meet deadlines.
