Senior Frontend Engineer (f/m/d)

GO2 Markets connects buyers and sellers globally to facilitate the trading of various environmental products and provides advisory services for sustainability strategies.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, your mission is to steer the frontend development of our trading platform and take full ownership of frontend projects within the organization. Help us develop intuitive, user-friendly web applications while making a meaningful impact on our mission for a more sustainable future.

The position is offered full-time in Berlin, with an earliest possible start date.

Your Responsibilities at GO2 Markets

1. Take full ownership of frontend projects, from ideation and development to maintenance and debugging.
2. Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality web frontend applications.
3. Continuously test the software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
4. Design, document, and develop frontend architecture; make well-informed technical decisions.
5. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless user experience and appealing visuals.
6. Stay updated with industry best practices and trends; bring innovative ideas and share knowledge with colleagues.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 4+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Strong passion for technology; stay current with industry developments.
• Solid knowledge of frontend languages, libraries, and frameworks—experience with TypeScript and React preferred.
• Proactive communicator who values transparency and open feedback.
• Capable of making informed, pragmatic, and confident technical decisions to ensure high-quality work.
• Motivated by combating climate change and contributing to the green energy transition.
