Private Equity Associate – Munich, Germany

We are currently seeking a Private Equity Associate to join their investment team in Munich. This is a high-impact role suited for candidates with strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and a passion for value creation in the mid-market space.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities across various sectors
• Conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and business due diligence
• Participate in deal structuring, negotiations, and transaction processes
• Work closely with portfolio companies to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements
• Prepare investment committee materials and internal reporting documentation
• Engage with intermediaries, advisors, and co-investors as part of origination and execution activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or a similar field
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills; excellent analytical capabilities
• Self-starter with a hands-on mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Exceptional communication skills with fluency in German and English (both written and spoken)
• A strong academic background in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated interest in private equity and mid-market investing
