Job Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be a key part of our sales team, working closely with founders and sales colleagues to implement our go-to-market strategy and identify new clients. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Lead Generation: Identifying and reaching out to potential clients via phone, email, and trade shows.
  2. Lead Qualification: Assessing the needs of potential clients to ensure they fit our solutions.
  3. Scheduling Meetings: Arranging appointments for the sales team with qualified leads.
  4. Pipeline Management: Maintaining and updating our CRM system.
  5. Collaboration: Working closely with Key Account Managers to pursue qualified leads.
  6. Market and Competitor Analysis: Gathering information to improve our sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on Mentality: Willingness to actively contribute and take initiative.
  • Sales Experience: Some experience in sales or customer contact, understanding how to identify buying centers and drive decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Enjoy engaging with diverse clients, communicating clearly and convincingly, and focusing on customer needs.
  • Proactive Thinking: Willingness to question and improve sales processes and approaches.
  • Team Spirit: Comfortable working in a team.
  • Travel Readiness: Willing to travel occasionally to client sites (about once a month for 1-3 days).
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and English (C1+).
  • [Bonus] PV Sales Experience: Prior experience in PV sales is a plus.
