A Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Europe Operations Manager for Reciprocating Compressors Packaging, responsible for developing and driving Packaging Operations including local capabilities, third-party packagers, supply chain for equipment, and execution as per quality standards to meet customer expectations in the EU region.

Our portfolio includes Process and High-Speed Reciprocating Compressors, Electric Motor-Driven and Gas Engine Driven Packages.

Core responsibilities include supporting order acquisition, leading successful project execution, and driving operational excellence with a clear focus on quality, delivery, cost, and employee safety & health.

This position requires excellent collaboration across functions to develop suppliers, third-party packagers, and strategies with senior management to increase market share for Reciprocating Compressors in Europe.

The Operations Manager will be located at one of our main CP sites in Europe: Duisburg, Germany or Lodz, Poland.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Support Sales & Bid Management in developing solutions and addressing customer queries to enhance order capture with higher margins.
  • Achieve project execution excellence by collaborating with all functions to deliver contractual deliverables, including services.
  • Drive flexibility in organizational processes and contractor management to adapt to changing portfolio and customer needs.
  • Improve efficiency and timely delivery by establishing and monitoring key metrics, while implementing process improvements.
  • Lead initiatives for technology, digitalization, and lean management, while striving for improved quality and reducing non-conformance costs (NCCs).
  • Develop and conduct Monthly Operations Reviews to showcase financial and operational metrics, accomplishments, challenges, and key initiatives.

What You Bring:

  • University Degree / Higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 8 years of management experience, with an MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in working with multicultural teams.
  • Strong communication, networking, and collaboration skills; fluency in English.
  • Efficiency and analytical skills accompanied by strong organizational abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial approach and change management capabilities to develop and successfully implement strategic plans.
  • Lean Management experience is a plus.
