Thompson Gray Job Opportunity: GFEBS Support Specialist
Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support European Command (EUCOM). The potential candidate must be flexible to work 2 months full-time in Europe and 10 months in the United States on a part-time basis. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative research, and analytical skills, in addition to the following skills and experience. Candidates must have GFEBS / GFEBSSA to be considered for this position.
Job Duties:
- Respond to and resolve user inquiries regarding GFEBS functionality, errors, and processes.
- Provide step-by-step guidance for troubleshooting system-related issues.
- Monitor system performance and report any anomalies.
- Provide users with onsite and virtual training on auditable GFEBS processes as needed.
- Develop and update user guides, SOPs, FAQs, training materials, etc.
- Generate reports on helpdesk performance and recurring issues.
- Train government employees on GFEBS processes.
- Assist in testing system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with Army regulations and policies.
- Employ audit tools, software, and financial management systems used by the Army for tracking and analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen and possess a SECRET clearance.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, business management, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly with all organizational levels, including senior military and civilian personnel.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work in Germany for 2-3 months per year.
- Technical proficiency in GFEBS / GFEBSSA functional areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ServiceNow and ADVANA.
