Thompson Gray Job Opportunity: GFEBS Support Specialist

Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support European Command (EUCOM). The potential candidate must be flexible to work 2 months full-time in Europe and 10 months in the United States on a part-time basis. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative research, and analytical skills, in addition to the following skills and experience. Candidates must have GFEBS / GFEBSSA to be considered for this position.

Job Duties:

1. Respond to and resolve user inquiries regarding GFEBS functionality, errors, and processes.
2. Provide step-by-step guidance for troubleshooting system-related issues.
3. Monitor system performance and report any anomalies.
4. Provide users with onsite and virtual training on auditable GFEBS processes as needed.
5. Develop and update user guides, SOPs, FAQs, training materials, etc.
6. Generate reports on helpdesk performance and recurring issues.
7. Train government employees on GFEBS processes.
8. Assist in testing system updates, patches, and upgrades.
9. Ensure compliance with Army regulations and policies.
10. Employ audit tools, software, and financial management systems used by the Army for tracking and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must be a US citizen and possess a SECRET clearance.
2. Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, business management, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience.
3. Ability to communicate clearly with all organizational levels, including senior military and civilian personnel.
4. Willingness and ability to travel and work in Germany for 2-3 months per year.
5. Technical proficiency in GFEBS / GFEBSSA functional areas.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Experience with ServiceNow and ADVANA.
