Job Description
We're looking for an Event Operations Manager to join our Event Delivery team for a 12-month contract. You'll be part of a dynamic environment, managing multiple events and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery.

What You'll Do

  1. Event Delivery (65%)
    • Manage sponsor and exhibitor relationships
    • Create online exhibitor manuals and update floor plans
    • Coordinate sponsor logos and registration
    • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours
    • Communicate effectively with sponsors, exhibitors, and internal teams
    • Collaborate with Account Management on commercial opportunities
    • Project-manage various aspects of in-person events, including:
      • Evening events
      • Signage (digital and printed)
      • Catering
      • Hotel bookings
      • Delegate travel
    • Deliver EBD Academy training courses
    • Manage temporary staff
    • Ensure timely task completion and budget adherence
    • Attend preparation visits and events for on-site support
  2. Collaboration and Best Practices (15%)
    • Work closely with internal teams to build strong relationships
    • Promote inclusive behaviors across the team
    • Provide excellent customer service to brand teams
  3. Health & Safety, Partnerships, and Sustainability (10%)
    • Implement H&S Operating Model and Incident Management Frameworks
    • Advance our Faster Forward sustainability agenda
    • Manage spend categories to mitigate attrition risk
  4. Planning and Budgeting (10%)
    • Submit event costs on time
    • Code invoices and expenses

  • Experience in B2B/B2C events or international hospitality event planning

Location and Language
Based in Germany, with remote work options. Fluency in German and English is essential.
