The Advanced Multilayer X-ray Optics group at CFEL is one of the leading research groups developing novel X-ray lenses, also known as multilayer Laue lenses (MLLs). We are now making the highest resolution X-ray lenses in the world, which bring new exciting opportunities for X-ray microscopy but also new challenges to measure their focusing properties. There is an opportunity for a motivated PhD candidate to join our team and be part of these exciting developments.
