Your role
As a Senior Consultant, you will act as a bridge between business experts and IT implementation, managing regulatory topics, shaping business processes, selecting suitable technologies, and supporting documentation and testing of IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Consult clients on tailored solutions for optimizing and digitalizing laboratory processes.
- Lead projects involving selection and implementation of laboratory IT systems (LIMS, LIS, ELN, etc.) using agile and traditional project management methods.
- Assist our sales team with acquisition and presales activities.
- Manage requirements ensuring compliance with legal standards (e.g., GxP, ISO, FDA).
- Advise, coach, and moderate project teams on regulatory and process issues.
- Facilitate communication between laboratory management, IT, and executive levels.
Qualifications
- Degree in natural sciences, computer science, or a comparable qualification, with a passion for digital transformation and new technologies.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in laboratory digitalization, including requirements management of lab systems and familiarity with standards like ISO 17025 or GAMP5.
- Experience with laboratory software solutions like LIMS and ELN, with understanding of data architecture and integration.
- Strong willingness to learn, open and communicative personality, with analytical and conceptual skills.
- Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel for project purposes.
