The Central Europe Grid System Integration (GSI) team delivers a wide range of high voltage transmission projects, including the connection of new generation & grid stability projects, and is looking for a Power System and RAM Studies Engineer to join the team.

In This Role

• You will lead the concept studies at the tender stage, working with other engineering disciplines to develop solutions that satisfy client needs and conform to requirements, such as Grid Code connection agreements.
• Manage external resources performing electrical system studies, validate outputs, and serve as the main technical interface to the client.
• Support activities at both the Tender and Project Delivery stages, including understanding customer requirements, developing system architecture, conducting preliminary studies, and managing study resources.

The GSI business handles projects like high voltage substations, network reinforcement, offshore substations for wind farms, network stability projects, and energy storage solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting concept development during tendering
• Engaging with clients and managing study resources
• Ensuring design compliance and practical realization of projects

Requirements

• MSC in Power Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with electrical studies on high voltage transmission systems
• Proficiency with power system analysis software (e.g., PowerFactory, DIgSILENT)
• Fluency in German and English
