Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Cloud Engineer position available in Moehringen, Germany.
Qualified candidates must possess a current DoD TS/SCI security clearance and meet TESA accreditation requirements. TESA Certification provides tax exemption benefits for both Germany and the US, along with other perks.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide design, engineering, and operational support to multiple cloud-based environments.
- Analyze services to determine viability for migration to the cloud and develop roadmaps for execution.
- Migrate, maintain, and support Cloud computing environments, continuously improving durability, performance, and maintainability.
- Architect solutions to meet mission and IT requirements, ensuring technical viability and successful deployment, leveraging Application Development and DevOps technologies as appropriate.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Cloud and enterprise system administration, including Active Directory, Storage Area Network, server virtualization, and related technologies.
- Develop and support Cloud identities, synchronize identities across providers, and manage Cloud licenses.
- Analyze Cloud security requirements to ensure compliance with DoD Cloud security standards across various service models.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized experience, or AA/AS + 7 years, or a major certification + 9 years, or 11 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in systems infrastructure design, support, and administration.
- Proficiency with hybrid Azure environments, including Azure AD, storage, compute, and networking components.
- Experience collaborating with diverse IT teams.
- IAT-III Level Certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+ CISM).
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or Developer Associate.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Proficiency with relevant technologies, tools, and systems.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Skills in Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, scripting (bash, python), CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Up to 10% travel, including occasional overnight trips.
- Active passport for OCONUS travel.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Office environment; sitting at a desk, working on a computer.
- May require short-distance travel on-site.
