Position Overview
We are seeking a strong and charismatic leader with a proven track record in leading oncology or specialty sales teams at a national level. This role involves working closely with the DACH & NL Group, the Country Manager, Medical Affairs Director, and Associate Director of Access to improve the overall success of the leadership team and to overachieve sales and revenue targets.
Operational excellence is a key driver in our business. Close collaboration with the commercial operations team in Zug is essential for success.
This role will be based in South Germany with regular travel to our office in Munich.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the GER sales team to fully leverage the best-in-class product, Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score, in breast centers and key accounts across Germany.
- Develop a national sales strategy as a member of the DACH leadership team.
- Implement and optimize KOL management and peer-to-peer education strategies.
- Enhance the existing account management system in collaboration with the sales excellence team in Zug and the DACH leadership team.
- Manage territory-specific goals and optimize the business review process with the Key Account Manager team.
- Lead the Key Account Manager team in strengthening collaborations with national and regional Key Opinion Leaders, focusing on the implementation of company strategy and development of Excellence Centers among TOP accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with experts in Gynecological Oncology, Oncology Pathology, and Urology to support the company's strategic goals.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, including attracting and retaining top talent, fostering a high-performance culture, and leading with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage.
- Manage and support your team effectively, including delegating tasks, assessing performance, and providing feedback and training opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Significant experience in pharmaceutical or diagnostics sales team management, preferably within oncology or specialty business.
- Proven success in selling complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics.
- Marketing or managed care experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Experience in coaching and developing top-performing sales teams.
- Flexible to support coaching and KOL management.
- Life science degree or clinical experience is advantageous.
- Valid German driver's license.
