Support the financial administration in Senftenberg!

immediately / permanent / full-time

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Performing the tasks of a specialist process manager
  • Creating cross-application evaluations
  • Adapting programs/modules to local conditions
  • Technical release of updates, hotfixes, and new modules
  • Maintaining standard forms and forms of the specialist application
  • Acting as interface between the specialist office, ICT service, and software manufacturer
  • Performing simple error analyses or support services; reporting hardware and software errors to ICT
  • Supporting in planning hardware and software
  • Multiplying for software launches and updates
  • Assigning, setting up, and documenting users, roles, and rights in the HKR and e-invoice systems
  • Instructing, advising, and training employees in business accounting and budget clerks
  • Developing concepts to optimize workflows via software and technical support, considering regularity, expediency, and cost-effectiveness
  • Checking, testing, and releasing interfaces
  • Collaborating in project groups on financial accounting and programming issues, and for software implementation, adaptation, and optimization

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Master data definition and implementation in the HKR specialist procedure and departments
  • Assisting in developing work instructions and legal bases
  • Processing statistical documents

What You Bring With You

  • Administrative specialist or equivalent qualification, or university degree in relevant fields (e.g., Administrative management, public administration, economics, business administration, computer science, business informatics), with some professional experience
  • Business management knowledge, especially in organizational structure and IT integration/support of financial processes
  • Process-oriented thinking and quick adaptation to IT and administrative processes
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong communication and persuasive skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Commitment, project management, and presentation skills
  • Class B driving license and willingness to drive (company vehicles)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of municipal budget law and municipal accounting
