Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and oversee production processes in shipbuilding, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  2. Ensure machinery availability and initiate measures in case of malfunctions.
  3. Support the department management in modernization efforts.
  4. Collaborate with interface partners to improve work safety and machine performance.
  5. Serve as a technical contact for engineering solutions within production.
  6. Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
  7. Assist the supervisor with safety, cost reduction, quality assurance, and throughput improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed technical or university education in shipbuilding or comparable qualifications such as a welding engineer.
  • Several years of professional experience in steel or shipbuilding industries.
  • Knowledge of lean management processes is desirable.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
  • Initiative, creativity, independence, and team spirit.
