About the Role

To support Radial’s European expansion, we are looking for a professional individual to support our team as a Solution Design & Pricing Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the sales team, meeting with new potential clients to understand their business needs and provide support with technical aspects.
• Analyze client data and tender documentation to develop optimum logistics solution in terms of processes, storage methods, resources and costs.
• Create bespoke logistics solutions along with pricing models and present them to the customers.
• Prepare and lead solutions presentations to different client stakeholders, including executives as well as site operators.
• Participate in the implementation of new solutions to support implementation team.
• Support internal improvement initiatives by working closely with the operation team.
• Gather and validate financial parameters to define pricing for potential and existing customers.
• Partner with experts and external Solutions Integrators to drive new automated solutions for e-commerce.
• Deliver innovative designs for new contracts and renewal opportunities that enables Radial to profitably grow our business.
• Development of internal tools and best practices to standardize and optimize the solutions engineering process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience with engineering in a distribution, fulfillment, and/or 3PL environment.
• Excellent knowledge of German and English (written and spoken).
• Experience in supply chain sales solutions, solutions engineering, business development for a 3PL preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Engineering preferred, Economics acceptable.
• Ability to travel upon request up to 20-25% - travel is related, but not limited to, site tours and/or client meetings/presentations.

• Team player, ability to coach other team members.
• Experience in supply chain sales solutions, solutions engineering, business development for a 3PL preferred.
