We are offering an exciting challenge at the Darmstadt site from We are looking for Spacecraft Controllers to support our satellite operations services.

Your Tasks

• Monitoring satellite operations in shift work
• Application of flight dynamics to maintain the satellite constellation and to perform de-orbiting
• Monitoring and supporting the maintenance of IT systems in satellite operations
• In the event of anomalies on the ground or in the space segment, take corrective action as required and apply emergency procedures to ensure the safety of the satellite and continuity of service
• Coordinate daily scheduled and unscheduled operations in the control center and support the consolidation and creation of the mission planning schedule

Your Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, telecommunications, physics or aerospace engineering, or technical qualification
• Experience with real-time systems and the execution of procedures in an operational environment
• Knowledge of flight dynamics, space communications, radio frequency technologies and/or ground segment systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of script programming
• Knowledge of relevant tools for satellite control (SCOS, EGS-CC, CCS5, etc.)
• Ability to work calmly under high pressure
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage
