We are looking for a Cluster Manager in the DE Southern Cluster (Stuttgart-Munich area) to play a key role in leading Vendor Flex operations in Germany. You will manage a team of Vendor Flex Process Assistants based at our vendors' sites across the cluster. As a Cluster Manager, you will own the performance and development of the Vendor Flex program for your cluster and lead continuous improvement activities in Germany and across Europe. You will represent Amazon to our vendors and logistics providers, visiting sites regularly, and will also manage interactions with all Amazon internal stakeholders: WHS, HR, Transportation, S&OP, Finance, Retail, and others. The role is primarily a Monday to Friday day shift, with some flexibility as per business needs.

Key job responsibilities
- Maintain health and safety standards at all sites and promote a positive health and safety culture.
- Lead and coach a diverse team of Process Assistants at vendor sites in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, adapting to an ambiguous landscape and frequent changes in priorities.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with vendors and their service providers (3PL).
- Conduct audits and process change activities using Lean-6 Sigma methods (Gemba Walk, Kaizen, etc.).
- Perform in-depth analysis of complex issues and lead improvement initiatives to eliminate errors and enhance financial metrics.
- Collaborate on multiple projects internationally, aligning with teams in other countries to improve and explore new opportunities.
- Travel within Germany up to 50% of the time for site visits and supplier meetings, mainly within your responsible cluster. The position is flexible in terms of location within central/southern Germany (Nürnberg, Hof).
About the team
Vendor Flex is an innovative Amazon program that accelerates the supply chain with major vendors, reducing costs and carbon footprint. We implement Amazon Fulfillment technology directly at vendors' warehouses to prepare customer orders for next-day delivery, increasing responsiveness and efficiency.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in English and German
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project)
Preferred qualifications
- Experience managing remote teams in a dynamic environment
- Experience with analytical tools such as data warehouses, SQL, or Visual Basic
- Ability to work with internal and external partners and make decisions based on accurate analysis
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities in ambiguous environments
