In Global Business Services, we support BASF's divisions with a cross-functional network and offer modern solutions tailored to the needs of the business. As a specialized service unit, we ensure a high level of customer orientation and design our services to be cooperative, efficient, and future-oriented.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In our Supply Chain Excellence team, you will promote a digitalization and AI-driven culture within the department. You will also raise awareness about the quality and efficiency impacts of AI and automation to ensure the successful development and maintenance of high-quality digital and AI products.

  1. You will design and implement IT tools and systems to ensure customs compliance in process design, based on requirements for customs and foreign trade operations.
  2. You will support foreign trade-related IT inquiries and projects, as well as assist with mergers and acquisitions.
  3. As an expert, you will design transaction processes that support customs savings for the BASF Group and develop proposals to optimize export and import customs declaration processes with respect to IT solutions.
  4. You will support the bundling of expert knowledge and promote global cooperation in customs and foreign trade activities within supply chain operations.
  5. You will facilitate regional knowledge transfers for business expert communities within operational service teams.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • A degree in business administration.
  • Professional experience in supply chain operations, customs, and foreign trade law, including import & export.
  • Familiarity with standard IT applications and solid knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP GTS.
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
