Job Description:

You will offer Retail solutions or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts in DACH region.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the growth engine of the Retail Global Industry Unit, actively prospecting and identifying high-value potential clients.
  • Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, focusing on new business sales.
  • Handle strategic accounts and relationships across the team.
  • Drive pipeline development through customer visits, campaigns, collaboration with other Oracle LOBs and Partners.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure coverage within the designated territory.
  • Engage with customers to position Oracle Retail solutions through strategic value-based selling, case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data.
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts to senior management.
  • Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings.
  • Build long-term strong relationships in the market with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle software selling experience in a new business development role; experience selling applications to the retail industry is a big plus.
  • German speaking and fluent in English.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tenacious spirit and results-oriented mindset.

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third-party influencers.
