As a Manufacturing Engineer in Shopfloor Support at our customer Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you are the driving force when it comes to quickly analyzing and permanently eliminating faults. With your eye for detail and flair for processes, you will make production more efficient, safer and more sustainable - hand in hand with production, quality and engineering. The gross annual salary is between € 62,800 and a maximum of € 66,100, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa). The position is initially limited until the end of 2026.

Job description

Tasks

  1. Analysis and sustainable solution of technical faults and production problems in the production environment
  2. Optimization of production processes through collaboration in the autonomous production team
  3. Continuous improvement of operational processes in terms of quality, costs and adherence to deadlines
  4. Coordination and control of improvement measures directly in ongoing production
  5. Identifying, documenting and processing non-conformities, including initiating corrective measures
  6. Supporting the implementation of technical specifications and design requirements in shift operation
  7. Documentation and commissioning of outstanding work at the construction site or in aircraft sections

Requirements

  1. Completed studies in the field of aircraft construction or mechanical engineering
  2. ALTERNATIVE: completed training as an aircraft mechanic, machine fitter or mechatronics technician with additional qualification as a technician or business administrator
  3. Several years of professional experience in the areas of work preparation, scheduling/material procurement, line side support, manufacturing engineering as well as production planning and control
  4. Detailed user knowledge of SAP and confident handling of Catia V4 and Google Workspace
  5. Business fluent in German (min. C1) and proficient in English (min. B2)
  6. Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
  7. Unrestricted and valid work permit for the EU (no student visa) required
