Become a part of our future at SMS group GmbH in Hilchenbach (near Siegen) or Mönchengladbach. We're looking for a candidate to temporarily assume the following role for two years:

YOU ACT

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and communications activities for the Center of Excellence Flat Products. It’s a versatile role with great impact on the development and expansion of the marketing function. Your tasks will include:

• Development of strategic marketing and communication concepts, coordination of effective implementation and measurement of success. Collaboration with senior management to ensure strategy execution.
• Creation of content with consistent, targeted, and impactful messages for internal and external communication via print and online media – including a Social Media strategy.
• Creation of attractive formats and multimedia content, including content specifications for film & photo shoots, for the various target groups.
• Support conception and preparation of relevant trade fairs, events, and conferences.
• Advise internal stakeholders, such as technical sales, on communication issues.

YOU KNOW

• Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or capacity.
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with high-quality standards.
• Demonstrated experience with social media, Microsoft Office, image editing programs, and web content management systems.
• Good technical understanding and interest in plant engineering.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• High degree of creativity, initiative, and result orientation.
• Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possesses a sense of urgency; is self-motivated and detail-minded.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills.
• Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues.
