About our client

Our client, for whom we are looking for a Logistics Manager (full-time job), is the subsidiary in Ingolstadt of a world-renowned and highly successful automotive supplier.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Familiar with VW/Audi system like EDI, Call-off, etc.
• Design, maintenance, and development of logistics and material management system
• Optimisation and continuous improvement of material flow, transport, and warehouse technology
• Production plan preparation and control
• Responsibility for inventory management, FIFO control
• Adapting organisational tasks to the changing needs of internal and external customers
• Control and development of KPI indicators, operational and strategic objectives
• Monitoring logistics planning (production planning, raw material purchasing, transportation management)
• Evaluation and improvement of assets, machinery, and warehouse efficiency
• Participation in new projects
• Relations with customers and suppliers
• Cooperation with cross departments (Production/Quality Dept/Purchasing) and inter-companies
• Team management, staff planning, and development
• Budget planning and cost responsibility, investment planning
• Reporting

Qualifications and knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience >5 years in an automotive company
• Experience in team management
• Advanced level of German and English
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
