Senior Accounting Specialist

We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to join our clients team in Hamburg at
the earliest opportunity.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist in crafting annual financial statements with a focus on securities holdings
• Drive innovation through active involvement in project tasks, particularly in the digitalization of year-end processes
• Provide support to foreign branches in preparing national reports
• Ensure accuracy in daily balance processing for all branches
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports promptly at both individual institution and group levels

Your Profile:

• Degree in banking, economics, or equivalent field
• 4 years of experience working as an accountant in the banking sector
• Proficient in reporting laws and HGB accounting
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a good grasp of technical processes and database structures
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• High attention to detail, proactive approach, and deadline-oriented mindset
