As a laboratory manager in our Process Development department, you work together with your team to develop processes for the production of highly effective and innovative active ingredients for crop protection and transfer the processes to production.

• In consultation with the laboratory team, you organize the workflow in the laboratory and coordinate the work in the pilot plant.
• You control, evaluate and document progress and coordinate the transfer of results to the pilot plant, production and other units if necessary.
• Another part of your work is the technical management of the assigned employees, including conducting appraisal interviews, as well as responsibility for project management and budget responsibility.
• You also establish and maintain contacts with operational units and scientific partners.
• In your new position, you monitor and evaluate market trends and competitive activities and derive recommendations for new products or projects as part of the innovation chain process.
• In addition, you actively develop your own knowledge and ensure that it is absorbed, maintained, expanded and passed on.

• PhD in chemistry
• knowledge in organic chemistry
• experience in the field of process development or technical chemistry
• affinity for statistical methods and data modeling is an advantage
• sustainable and solution-oriented working style and interest in expanding your own technical knowledge and familiarizing yourself intensively with new topics
• very good communication skills in German and English
