About the Company: A leading fintech focused on banking and payments based in Germany is rapidly expanding and looking for a Tax Specialist to support this next phase of growth.

Your Role

As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimising tax processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and advising on tax matters across subsidiaries and branches. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to support strategic financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all tax-related activities across the group, working with external consultants where necessary
• Manage tax obligations for the organisation, its subsidiaries, and branches, ensuring accurate and timely tax filings
• Develop and implement efficient tax processes to align with regulatory requirements
• Provide advisory support on tax implications related to new financial products
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance and proper documentation

We’d Love to See

• 5+ years of experience in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or Auditing
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, HGB, and German Tax Law
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; SAP S4/Hana knowledge is a plus
• Fluency in English and German
• A proactive, self-driven mindset and adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills with high integrity
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Results-oriented with effective multitasking capabilities
