Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance - Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting team at our headquarters in Hanover, Germany, join us on a permanent basis as a Senior Financial Accountant / Project Manager, starting at the earliest possible date.

You can look forward to:

  • Leading a workstream within a large business transformation project for the global renewal of our financial systems (Polaris), focusing on migrating our general ledger to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Analyzing existing processes and defining new target processes, including necessary customization.
  • Interfacing with various departments, employees at our branches and subsidiaries worldwide, external consultants, and management.
  • Handling functional and technical issues related to reporting in accordance with HGB, IFRS, and Solvency II.

You come equipped with:

  • A degree in economics or business administration, preferably with a focus on finance, or relevant professional experience through commercial training.
  • Several years of professional experience in the finance department of an international company, ideally in insurance or reinsurance.
  • Knowledge of SAP general ledger and related insurance sub-systems is preferred.
  • Experience managing multifunctional teams or projects.
  • An international mindset with conversational proficiency in German and English.
